About

We don’t like to bragActually, in all honesty, we love to brag but The Claddagh is simply the best Irish pub in Auckland. Come in to experience great food, great service and have a great time!

We’re located in the heart of Newmarket so we’re easy to get toAlthough some think we're a little hidden so we've put some instructions below.. We’ve got regular events to keep you entertained, we’ve got the best Guinness in town to keep your thirst quenched and our chef seems to think he can cook a pretty mean meal to satisfy your hunger.

How to find us

OK, so we’re at 372-376 Broadway in Newmarket, its down a little driveway which confuses some people who don’t spot our giant sign. If you’re lost give us a call on 09 522 4410 and we’ll help get you here! View Larger Map

Opening Hours

Monday is a great time for lunch, an evening meal or a quiet pint with good company.

Hours: 12pm till late.

Tuesday lunch as always is good, but is also an underrated night for a hearty meal and pint of Guinness. Legend has it you can see Leprechauns at the bar late on Tuesdays although we’re yet to confirm it ourselves. We also have a Darts Competition if you are game enough, but in all seriousness, you’d have a good chance of winning. Starts at 6.30pm.

Hours: 12pm till you see a Leprechaun, or we all get sick of waiting and decide to go home.

Wednesday is pub quiz night!

It’s great fun even if you’ve never been before. 7.30pm start. Register by 7.15pm. No pressure at all and did we mention the fun??

Hours: 12pm till sometime roughly after midnight.

If you haven’t been in for lunch by Thursday do it today, you’ll thank yourself for it!

Thursday night is karaoke night too. By crikey its a lot of fun!

Come join us for a bit of old fashioned song and dance starting at 9pm (or earlier if twist our arm)!

Hours: 12pm till really late

Its Friday, need we say more? Finish work early and come down for a relaxing (or not so relaxing) bevvie or two.

Live music from FATHER & SONs starting at 8.30pm!

Hours: 12pm-ish till you want to go home, or bar staff fall asleep

Saturday is of course most famous for being the day after Friday night. Drag the family in for a rewarding meal after morning sports, catch the game on the big screen or just come on down and have some fun dancing the night away to one of the many bands we have play on Saturday.

Hours: 12pm till the wee hours of Sunday morning

Our Sunday lunch is always worth the trip as we have our Roast special, have it early and then sit back and enjoy the company.

Hours: 12pm till we’re too tired to go on
