Our Chef fancies himself a bit, he likes to think he can make food you’ll want to come back and try again and again. Well, not like we’ve got a vested interest but we agree with the sod. How about you come along and see if he’s as full of talent as we think or just full of something else.

Our exceedingly popular regular menu is complemented by regular specials. We let our Chef out each day to check the local markets to see what’s fresh and tasty and then lock him away again to create something special. In our opinion it’s probably worth the trip just to see what he’s managed to come up with this time.

We also highly recommend the functions menu. If you’ve got an event we can whip up something a wee bit special for you and your crew. Contact us for more info on that one.

Starters

Thigh fillet with cheese, red onion, relish, gherkin, tomato& lettuce on a fresh bun. Served with hot chips.

Vegetarian Burger ($16.00)

A delicious chickpea pattie with relish, beetroot, tomato and lettuce in one of our fresh crusty buns. Served with entirely vegetarian hot chips.

Deluxe Beef Burger ($20.00)

Lean beef pattie with cheese, bacon, egg, mushrooms, relish, beetroot, tomato & lettuce on a fresh bun. Served with hot chips.

Chicken Salad ($15.00)

Tender strips of thigh fillet on a bed of crisp salad. Topped with a lemon & basil pesto dressing.

Irish/Thai Beef Salad ($15.00)

Stirfried strips of fillet steak on a bed of crisp salad, topped with a spicy Thai dressing.

Falafel Salad ($15.00)

Bite sized chickpea patties on a bed of crisp salad. Topped with a lemon tahini dressing.

Irish Stew ($18.00)

A reminder that not all stews are created equal! We take tender chunks of lamb shoulder and fresh potatoes, cook them slowly with carrots and onions to create something that will warm the cockles of your soul. Served with some fantastically fresh crusty bread.

Bangers & Mash ($18.00)

Irish pork sausages with our delicious colcannon mash and baby peas, all smothered in rich onion gravy.

Fish & Chips ($19.00)

Cottage Pie ($18.00)

Lean beef mince & vegies, slow cooked in a rich tomato gravy. Topped with colcannon mash and served with crusty bread.

Schnitzel (Beef or Chicken) ($18.00)

An old family favourite of ours, crumbed and served with hot chips, a crisp salad and caper butter.

Fettuccine Carbonara ($18.00)

Chef’s handmade pasta in a bacon, mushroom & cream sauce, served with a crispy salad (we love salad).

Smoked Salmon Fettuccini ($18.00)

Chef’s handmade pasta with smoked salmon in a white wine, herb & cream sauce. Served with a crispy salad.

Pan Fried Fish ($23.00)

Pan fried market fish served on colcannon with a white wine & herb sauce. Served with a crispy salad.

Scotch Fillet Steak ($28.00)

If you’re going to have steak why not treat yourself? Tender scotch fillet, cooked to your liking with a blob of herb butter on top to soak in (yum),with hot chips, a crispy salad. Add fried eggs for $ 1.50 each. Add mushroom sauce for $2.50.
